CO2-Recovery plants for dry ice CO2-Recovery plants for dry ice CO2-Recovery plants for dry ice CO2-Recovery plants for dry ice

Dry ice is produced by expansion of liquid CO2 from an insulated CO2 storage tank at approx. 15-19 bar to atmospheric pressure. Upon expansion of liquid CO2 not only dry ice is formed. In fact in the process there arise considerable quantities of CO2-gas which under normal conditions get into the atmosphere and represent a commercial loss for the dry ice producer. With our CO2-recovery plants System BUSE RGW-TEP these CO2-flue gases from dry ice production can be both eco-nomically and environmentally friendly recovered.

The system BUSE RGW-TEP presents followings advantages for dry ice producers:
- Reduction of the CO2-losses by almost 75%!
=> Considerable reduction of dry ice production cost
- Improvement of competitiveness to dry ice producers who don’t use CO2-recovery
- Eco-friendly reduction of CO2-emissions
- Option of connection of any desired number of dry ice machines to the CO2-recovery plant
- Very simple and fully automatic operation of the CO2- recovery plant. So there is no need of additional personnel.

As a dry ice producer, you will be getting from us the full package: Dry ice machine, CO2-recovery plant and, if needed, we will deliver the CO2-storage tank as well.

The investment decision for a CO2-recovery plant must be well carefully considered!
As a special service for our customers taking into consideration to purchase a CO2- recovery plant, we provide professional assistance in economic feasibility study and verification of the return on investment. The decisive factors are above all:
- Low risk
- Short amortisation and pay off period
- Professional project management
- Profit maximization by long term reduction of
  dry ice production cost
