High-pressure CO2 plants
"System BUSE" high-pressure tank plants for CO2 are used wherever smaller quantities of CO2 are needed for gaseous use with low energy expenditure, even at high pressure.
They have been designed for a max. admissible operating overpressure of 80 bar and can be considered as ultra-large steel cylinders. During storage, the operating pressure in the tank depends on the ambient conditions and at +20°C, for example, it is approx. 60 bar.
A standard water safety cooling system prevents an inadmissibly high pressure increase even in the event of intense solar radiation.
Standard tank sizes:
- horizontal type: from a nominal 1,100 kg to 15,000 kg
- vertical type: nominally 5,000 kg and 10,000 kg
